Provocative, shameless, transgressive, and extremely fun. These are some of the adjectives that The Miarmers deserve, a difficult-to-classify band born with the intention of infusing the popular cultural heritage of Andalusia, Seville, Macarena, and Triana into rock. If anything defines this group, it’s their vocation to capitalize on diversity. Hence, they dare to mix a genre as popular and authentic as Spanish copla with the hardest rock. Not in vain, the group itself is extremely diverse, bringing together two musicians like Eduardo Cruz (Pitu) on electric guitar and Raúl Cejas (Barón Samedi) on bass, with two theater professionals, Juan Luís Corrientes, who plays drums and sings backing vocals, and the band’s lead singer, Paz Alarcón.
