SouLift is a Madrid-based band that fuses soul, funk, reggae, and rock with touches of gospel into their own unique style.
The group is made up of musicians from four countries across three continents: Spain, Nigeria, Cameroon, and the United States.

Lead singer Amos Obasohan, leader of the ‘Madrid Gospel Choir,’ is a top-tier vocalist whose voice ranges from American gospel to Nigerian highlife. In their reggae songs, he can transport you straight to Jamaica, often improvising in the distinctive dancehall style of the island. Amos is accompanied by Californian guitarist/vocalist Erik La Chapelle, who co-writes the songs with Amos and adds his funk/rock guitar touches along with an American soul and rock vocal flair, creating a rich and diverse blend.

They are supported by a talented group of musicians from a diverse and eclectic music scene. The solid Made-in-Spain bass and drum rhythm section is formed by Christophe Alcalá and Javi Jiménez. The versatile Olusoji Sool Jaiyeola plays keyboards and saxophone, adding an essential ingredient to the mix. Mirabelle Kapnan’s voice completes the rich three-part harmony fusion, which sets SouLift apart from many other bands on today’s scene.

SouLift live is: unleashed hypnotic power, breaking all musical genre boundaries. Some call them Madrid’s best-kept secret.
