Phil Weeks, from France—legend and head of Robsoul Recordings—embodies authentic house with his blend of raw Chicago beats and the French nu-school touch. His MPC3000-driven productions carry a unique style, with over 250 releases to his name. This will be his second time in Madrid, but this time as the headliner.
Jason Hodges, Canadian veteran active since 1991, is unmatched in deep, driving grooves, forged in Toronto’s underground scene (Junction Style Music). His technical precision on both production and the dance floor speaks for itself, with remixes for the likes of DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, and even Justin Timberlake.
From Madrid, Some Too Suspect brings his passion for Jackin’ and Chicago House. A monthly resident at Tempo Audiophile Club, with his own imprint So Funk Records—a reference in Spain’s underground scene—and releases on labels such as Too Many Rules, I! Records, Purveyor Underground, Brobot Records, Moodyhouse, Lutefisk… among many others. His unique sound spans from funky and disco vinyl to the deepest underground Jackin’.
