Casual Jazz Project returns to Tempo to present a second album full of pop and rock classics reworked in a jazz and fusion style: David Bowie, Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Living Colour are some of the artists whose songs we’ll hear in soundscapes very different from the originals. The band’s live performance also includes songs from their first album, a contemporary jazz and fusion offering with which the band has already visited Tempo on several occasions. The group, which began its career ten years ago, brings together the compositions and arrangements of Canarian multi-instrumentalist Hermi Marrero. In this concert, we’ll see him playing a hybrid guitar that combines bass and guitar strings. Also on stage will be ACIZ (vocals), Inoidel González (saxophone and flute), Chema Saiz (guitar), and Arnaldo Lescay (drums).
