Eric “Shrizz” Rohner, born in Africa and raised in Bern, fell in love with music at age 7 and with the saxophone at 15. Inspired by George Clinton at the Montreux Jazz Festival, his path was set. After studying vocals in London and moving to Paris, he co-founded HornDogz and collaborated with legends like Jimmy Cliff, Dave Stewart, and George Clinton.
In 2024, he released “Dope Frequency”, voted Funk Album of the Year in the U.S., featuring George Clinton himself. His electrifying shows have lit up venues across Europe, including the legendary New Morning in Paris.
With Shrizz & The Kiddz, his Madrid-based band, he takes “Martian funk” to new heights, leaving Spanish audiences in awe.
