Their horn section, scorching guitar, and soulful organ are driven by a powerful rhythm section, producing a modern and thrillingly powerful mix of jazz, funk, and boogaloo, perfectly aligned with the finest traditions of the Blue Note/Prestige sound.
Led by trumpeter Nick Etwell (Tom Jones / Beck), this band of musical gunslingers has worked with some of the biggest names in music: Amy Winehouse, Mavis Staples, Ronnie Spector, Mark Ronson, Duran Duran, Jack White, Roger Daltrey, Dionne Warwick, Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams, Chrissie Hynde, Noel Gallagher, Jill Scott, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Fred Wesley, to name a few.
Their recent EP “Soho Filth” received praise and airplay from some of the biggest names in the scene, including Craig Charles, Cerys Mathews, Huey Morgan (BBC 6 Music); DJ Lil’ Koko (Jazz FM), and Jamie Cullum (BBC Radio 2).
